REA SCancheck II

ScanCheck II is a universal high performance bar code verifier which meets to ISO standards. Automatic size determination provides easy use and user independent verification results. The measuring system is based on a laser scanner system adopted to the requirements for verification. This technique leads to a contactless measurement. The power supply is provided by standard AA rechargeable batteries.

This allows a fully portable operation. The data interface is a standard RS232 connection. This can be used to connect to a standard PC or the REA Print TD32 report printer. EAN 128 Data content checker is included in the standard version at no extra cost.

When coupled to the REA ScanCheck II verifier this small portable printer makes it possible to print individual barcode verification reports on the move.

Reports can be printed in either 'short' format, repeating all information displayed on the ScanCheck verifier's screen or 'long' format (as shown right) together with a detailed graphical readout of each individual bar and space of the barcode being quality checked.
